I get asked some pretty cool questions..

Check it out!

Q: How did your story end up as the pilot episode of "Coming Out Stories" on the LOGO Network?

A: I was clicking around mtv.com looking for an artist and saw "casting call." There it was: Looking to come out... I sent an e-mail and the rest was history!

Q: What is the name of your Mom's disease? Where can I learn more about it?

A: She has a brain disease called OPCA, which stands for Olivopontocerebellar atrophy. It is basically the shrinking of the cerebellum. To learn more about it, click here: OPCA Awareness

Q: Your sister seems so wonderful... why were you SO upset to tell her? Did she have an idea you were a lesbian?

A: She is so wonderful and an accepting person which was why I was so upset! I felt very sorry and regretful for keeping it from her for so many years. And, yes, she had an idea but we had never "officially" talked about it.

Q: What's your dating status?

A: I AM SINGLE! (and blushing right now.)

Q: I saw you in a club recently.. You look so different and I didn't even recognize you at first! Did you lose weight?

A: Ha ha.. I am told I look nothing like I did on the show! Well, I did lose about 20 lbs and if you add that to the 10 the camera may add, then it could appear like a drastic change, I guess.

Quick story: I was at Sister's Nightclub for an airing of the show on their 7 ft. screen and I started to cry when I saw my Mom cry! A nice woman asked, "why is that girl crying?" My friend answered.. "See that girl on the screen.. that's her!" It was funny.

Q: I saw on the show your armband tattoo. What is it? You have others?

A: My armband is three small rows of bricks. I have another tattoo on my back.
